Segev LLP’s Danny Matthews and David McHugh will be joined by cannabis industry experts Brayden Sutton, Scott Walker and Chris Parry for an insightful discussion on the business of cannabis in Canada – now and in the future.

Brayden Sutton, capital markets & investment expert (Sutton Ventures – StockSyndicate.com) – Mr. Sutton brings a very successful track record of identifying early opportunities in the cannabis sector. Brayden’s 14 years of experience in the capital markets combined with over a decade of practical cannabis expertise has greatly assisted in sourcing early-stage, high-growth opportunities for his wholly owned fund and merchant bank.
Mr. Sutton served as the Executive Vice President for Supreme Pharmaceuticals Inc. (FIRE.V) and Brayden’s expertise within the legal Cannabis sector has resulted in additional Executive positions, with both public and private companies, at the leading edge of the emerging Cannabis industry, including Invictus MD (IMH.V), Aurora Cannabis (ACB.V) and CannaRoyalty (CRZ.C). He is also the founder of Cannabis Health Sciences Inc. and the President and CEO of Friday Night Inc. (TGIF.C)
Chris Parry, industry analyst (Founder – Equity.Guru) – Chris is the founder and head writer at Equity.Guru. In a little over a year, the company has grown to an eight-person operation, with 30+ clients across all sectors, and an audience of young, newly minted investors. The former Director of Editorial at Acb Stockhouse, and a journalist at the Vancouver sun and Province newspapers before that, Parry is a two-time Webster Award winner and recently opened Equity.Guru’s new multimedia studio in Railtown, where his crew will bring live-streaming commentary to the market through 2017.
Scott Walker, regulatory expert & business development advisor (MidPoint Ventures Ltd. & Wildflower Marijuana) – Mr. Walker is a senior management consultant who has over 25 years’ experience as a lobbyist, contractor and consultant to the Canadian federal government, international governments, and Fortune 1000 corporations. Mr. Walker was a co-founder of the CMCIA, now the Cannabis Canada Association which represents the major Canadian licensed cannabis producers, and a board member until April 2015. Additionally, he has extensive experience working in emerging medicinal cannabis jurisdictions in nine US states, Israel, Germany, Columbia, and Australia.

As we would hate for anybody to be turned away, we suggest you refrain from wearing jeans, t-shirts, sneakers or flip-flops to the event.
